GAIMUKH CREEK

I've been at this place twice before. And I somehow felt like I should write about this as this is can be a best place to find solitude.

Sunrise from East.
'Gaimukh' is nothing but an endpoint of "Thane city", and a part of 'Vasai Creek' flows from here. I visited this place 2 years ago for the first time in my life, and to be honest; it was nothing but a pile of junk. Sadly, I don't have any pictures of the creek from 2 years ago; but now, it has been developed so that citizens can come and spend their time here.

Gaimukh Temple (Downloaded from Google)
The 'Gaimukh creek' is about 13 km from Thane Railway station near Ghodbunder road. There's Gaimukh temple on the way, hence this area is known as Gaimukh.

Gaimukh creek is truly a great place to witness sunrise and sunset. If you go there early in the morning, the cool breeze will please you with a great sight of sunrise. If you stand in such a way that you're facing the creek, then you're facing west direction. So what I want to say is, if sunrise looks so beautiful at this place where there is a jungle of concrete in the east, just imagine how beautiful the scene will be at time of sunset in the evening.

West (Just imagine how beautiful sunset would be)
If you ever visit this place, don't forget to take a good camera with you so that you can capture beautiful snaps from creek. The creek is now much developed so that many people can spend good time there. I cannot grab the pictures as the place is still under construction for some technical issues. But within 6 months, it's going to be one of the best spots in Thane.

I'm displaying pictures here so after seeing these you might add 'Gaimukh Creek' to your bucket list.

Ignore me, and just imagine how awesome your photo will be in this background.
